I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes this past year and it made me re-evaluate what I eat. I’ve always been shocked at the diet food industry and how high in sugar a lot of it is. A lot of them say things like ‘guilt free’ when really they’re far from it. My mission is to find alternatives to the diet foods that are tasty, easy and manageable. Join me on my journey!
My name is Jenny and I live in Kent, UK. I have three children aged 7, 5 and 2. I grew up with a heavy French influence, as I have family in France and my Father was born there. I’ve never been afraid to try any food and I’m passionate about quality and provenance. I enjoy experimenting with recipes and combinations, but you can’t beat the classics. I’m always surprised at how many people don’t know the basics, so I’ll try and keep things simple. I’m a busy working mum so I know how hard it is to make simple, tasty, healthy food so I’m hoping to provide some inspiration here.
